Site Purpose, Ownership and Financial Interests

The “Genetic Dilemmas in Primary Care” program (“the program”) was created to provide continuing medical education to primary care clinicians who face increasingly complex issues as genetic medicine becomes a more frequent part of patient care. The intended purpose of this website is:

  • To enhance dissemination of the program by increasing awareness about it and facilitating access to information about the program as well as the program materials.
  • To provide self-service access to unlimited copies of the program’s printed materials.
  • To facilitate the gathering of evaluative feedback on the program.
  • To provide a starting point for those wishing to pursue further investigation of the issues raised in the program.
  • To facilitate feedback from program users to the project team.
