Each day brings fresh news about genetic testing and its impact on patient health and health care. This page is designed to help physicians stay on top of the latest news being read by their patients, with listings of current articles drawn from a variety of news sources.

Listed below are several internet news search queries that should return a relatively high percentage of relevant results. These queries are processed through Google™ News, an experimental online news service that automatically collects items from thousands of online news sources worldwide.

Clicking on any of the search queries will return a page of results, each of which includes a headline, source attribution, a brief description and a link to the full story. Items may be as little as 30 minutes old or as much as 30 days old. Once displayed, search results can be quickly re-sorted “by date” to quickly identify the most recent items.

You may also go directly to Google™ News and construct and run your own queries.

This news search is provided as a service “as is.” It is based on experimental internet technology, and should not be taken as offering a comprehensive list of news items on the subjects listed.

The Hastings Center and the project team of Genetic Dilemmas in Primary Care has no control over, or specific knowledge of, the websites, web pages or news stories that will be returned as a result of these searches.
